The Society was formed in 1930 and brings together anyone who cares about this historic building.  The aim of The Friends is to assist the PCC in caring for and maintaining the fabric of the Minster. Over the past few years The Friends have paid for the new floor in the Song Room, new pew covers in the North and South Aisles, and work on the South Porch doors to replace the door opening mechanism. We have also given a donation towards the work to replace the floor area at the front of the Nave. All this could not have been achieved without donations and legacies from generous benefactors and supplemented by fundraising from social events.

Donations are always welcome.

Should you wish to make a donation, cheques can be made payable to The Friends of Halifax Minster.
