The Minster Christmas Tree Festival will be a virtual Festival this year and is being filmed by Calderdale College. As soon as the film is ready for release it will be available on the Minster website and through our social media outlets.

The Minster continues to be open daily from 12 noon to 4 pm. You are welcome to come and light a candle and place a tag on our Remembrance Tree in memory of a loved one and see the Christmas decorations as part of a Christmas pilgrimage.

There will sadly be no Carol Service this year due to the Tier 3 restrictions associated with the Pandemic.

We are currently working with the Police and Public Health to try and plan something for families on Christmas Eve in the afternoon. Please watch this space for further information.

Midnight Mass at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve and the Sung Eucharist at 10.30am on Christmas Day will be by ticket only via Eventbrite and the Minster Website. These FREE tickets will be available from Monday 14th December. Please note that there will be available one pew per bubble/house hold. There will be a limited number of socially distanced pews available across the Minster. We are keen to take as many people as we can safely hold in these exceptional circumstances.

Please allow extra time for entry into the Minster observing additional COVID 19 measures on both entering and leaving the Minster for these occasions. Please wear a face mask and follow our stewards directions.
