7.30 Maundy Thursday Eucharist with Foot Washing and Vigil until Midnight

The Eucharist of Maundy Thursday relives the events of the Upper Room and of the Last Supper. It includes the powerful ‘Foot washing’ ceremony, the ‘stripping of the Altars’ and the ‘Watch of the Passion’, kept until midnight. Jesus, in the garden of Gethsemane, said to the disciples, “could you not stay with me for one hour?”
